Despite the challenging state of the economy, more than 60,000 building industry professionals attended the 65th annual International Builders Show (IBS) in Las Vegas earlier this year. Because of its 1,600 exhibiting companies and more than 250 education sessions many building professionals still emphasize the importance of attending IBS, especially in the current down market. Many see it as an opportunity to retool their businesses and educate themselves in order to be ready when the housing market turns around.
